Toronto Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a stabbing investigation.

On Wednesday around 2:11 p.m., police responded to a call for a stabbing in the Danforth Ave. and Main St. area.

It’s reported that the male victim was approached by male suspect and had a brief verbal interaction before the suspect stabbed the victim.
Cops say the victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the suspect was last seen fleeing on foot east along Danforth Ave.
The suspect is described as a male, about 30 years old, approximately six feet tall with a medium build, black braids and a short black beard.
He was last seen wearing a black and grey puffer jacket, blue jeans and a black backpack.

MAN, 66, CHARGED IN NORTH YORK STABBING
Toronto Police have charged a 66-year-old Sunderland man in connection with an assault with a weapon investigation.
On Nov. 11, around 8:30 a.m., police responded to a call for an assault in the Yonge St. and Sheppard Ave. area.
It’s alleged that the adult male victim was inside a commercial building in the underground parking lot when he approached an elevator where he was confronted by the suspect who was unknown to him.
It’s further alleged the suspect, without provocation, began to assault the victim with a baton-like weapon and kicked him before a bystander intervened to help the victim and the suspect fled on foot.
The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and on Tuesday, William Hazelton turned himself into police.

He was arrested and charged with weapons dangerous, three counts of assault with a weapon, assault, intimidation and criminal harassment.

TRIO ACCUSED OF RURAL BREAK-INS IN HAMILTON AREA
Hamilton Police have charged three people after an investigation into a series of rural break-and-enters that happened throughout the late summer months.
Cops say between late August to October that a group of suspects travelled to farms in the outlying areas of Hamilton, targeting farm stores and stealing cash receipts.

After investigating, police allege three individuals were responsible.
On Friday, officers made several arrests at multiple Toronto-area addresses, taking the three suspects into custody without incident.
Marius Miclescu and Ghetisoara Nistor are both charged with break-and-enter with intent and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
Jenica Velcu is charged with break-and-enter with intent, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and two counts of break-and enter-commit.
At the time of their arrests, all three accused were already subject to release conditions for similar previous offences.

MAN, 18, CHARGED IN PICKERING AUTO THEFT
An 18-year-old man faces 10 offences after allegedly being found in a stolen vehicle by Durham Regional Police in Pickering on Tuesday morning.
Cops say around 4:45 a.m., they responded to the area of Arathorn Ct. and Melman St. after receiving reports of a stolen vehicle in the vicinity.
Officers located the occupied vehicle, successfully blocked it in, and arrested the male driver without incident.
Abdullah Lahir, 18, of Pickering is charged with possession of property obtained by crime – exceeding $5000; theft of a motor vehicle; possession of an electronic device for motor vehicle theft; possession of a break-in instrument; four counts of failure to comply with a release order; and two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking.
