Armed carjackers made off with a driver’s 2023 Mercedes Maybach after approaching their victim in his driveway in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police said one carjacker was armed with a knife and another claimed to have a gun when they confronted the motorist at a residence on Mineola Rd. on June 19 and demanded the man’s keys, watch and cellphone.

The bandits fled in the victim’s vehicle, which was recoved by police the next day. The victim was unharmed.
Ekamveer Randhawa, 19, and Parth Sharma, 20, of Oakville, are each charged with robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, and possession of property obtained by crime. Sharma is also charged with driving while disqualified.

E-bike stolen, rider assaulted
A thief assaulted a rider before making off with the victim’s e-bike, according to Toronto Police.
Toronto Police said the victim was riding an e-bike last Wednesday morning in the Danforth-Pape Aves. area when a white Acura sedan pulled up.

A thief popped out from the front seat of the vehicle, pushed the rider off the e-bike and assaulted the victim.
Police said the thief was last seen escaping on the e-bike on Pape Ave. He is described as white, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, with a thin to medium build and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black-and-white shoes, and a black balaclava.

Cops seize guns in Mississauga
Three people face charges after police say officers seized two handguns during separate traffic stops in Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police officers were conducting patrols near in the Matheson Blvd. and Sismet Rd. (about one kilometre north of Eglinton Ave.) on Aug. 23 when they stopped a vehicle for Highway Traffic Act enforcement.
During the investigation, police alleged, officers located a loaded Glock 17 with an extended magazine and a quantity of drugs in the car.
Luqman Khandid, 22, of Mississauga, was charged with firearm and drug offences.
A short time later, officers conducted another traffic stop, near Matheson Blvd. and Satellite Dr., for a drug investigation and allegedly found a loaded compact Glock 27 firearm on one of the two occupants in the vehicle. Both occupants were arrested.
Liban Abdillahi, 20, of Toronto, was charged with seven firearm-related offences and Abdullahi Ali, 20, of Toronto, was charged with six firearm-related offences and one of having care and control of vehicle with cannabis readily available.
