A 45-year old man suffered “life-altering injuries” in a motorcycle crash in Oshawa on Friday afternoon.

Durham Regional police say officers responded to the collision at the intersection of Park Rd. N. and Bloor St. W. around 3:30 p.m.

“A vehicle was travelling westbound on Bloor St. W. and was making a left-hand turn into a nearby plaza,” police said in a statement released Saturday. “A Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling eastbound and struck the sedan.”
“The impact caused extensive damage to the motorcycle and life-altering injuries to the motorcyclist,” police said, adding the motorcyclist was air-lifted to a trauma centre in Toronto where he remains in stable condition.
The Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
