Police said the deceased is described as a Black male, 18 to 22 years old, standing 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-3 with a muscular build.
“Investigators believe this incident occurred between late 2021 and the spring of 2025,” Niagara police said in a news release issued on Tuesday. “This ongoing investigation is particularly complex due to the condition of the remains. As a result, forensic and postmortem examinations remain ongoing.”
