A woman is fighting for her life after she was hit by a minivan while laying on a road in the city’s Moss Park neighbourhood early Saturday.

Toronto Police say the incident occurred in the area of Dundas St. E. and Seaton St. – east of Sherbourne St. – just after 2 a.m.

“It is reported that a 32-year-old man was operating a grey Honda Odessey eastbound on Dundas St. E., approaching Seaton St.,” Const. Shannon Eames said in a statement released Saturday. “A woman, approximately 30 years old, was laying in the road when she was struck by the vehicle.”
She said the woman was transported to hospital with life-threatening-injuries.

“Police are asking local residents, business and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators,” Eames said.
