Toronto Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in an assault and theft investigation.

Cops say on Saturday at 4:43 p.m., police responded to a call for an assault in the area of Gerrard St. E. and Woodfield Rd.

It’s reported that the suspect and victim got into a verbal fight before the suspect assaulted the victim and stole their cell phone.
The suspect is wanted for assault and theft under $5,000.
He is described as 6-foot-2, in his 40s, with a muscular build. He has dreadlocks and was wearing a toque, glasses, red hoodie under a black jacket and black pants.

3 FACE FIREARM CHARGES

Two women and a man face various charges after a firearms investigation by Toronto Police.

On Tuesday a search warrant was executed in the Rathburn Rd. and The East Mall area. It’s alleged that a semi-automatic handgun, a magazine loaded with several rounds of ammunition and a quantity of ammunition were located and seized.
Kodianne Anakons, 28, of Toronto, was charged with three firearm-related offences while Alana Mancini-Russell, 20, of Peterborough, and Neos Stoneypoint, 28, of Toronto, were charged with with two firearm-related offences.
