Investigators need help identifying a suspect wanted for an indecent act involving a 10-year-old boy in Cabbagetown on Tuesday.

Toronto Police say officers responded to a call near Sumach St. and Wellesley St. E. – east of Parliament St. – around 3:45 p.m. where it was reported that a boy was walking in the area when a man approached him on a scooter and committed an indecent act.

The boy and the man are not known to each other.
Police are looking for a man in his 20s, who was wearing black shoes, black pants and a grey or white hoodie with the hood up.
Investigators have released an image of a suspect hoping someone recognizes him and comes forward.
Police are concerned the same man may be responsible for similar acts committed in the area.

MAN, 21, ACCUSED OF SUSPECTED HATE CRIME IN NORTH YORK
A man wanted for a suspected hate-motivated assault involving a Jewish person in North York has now been charged.
Toronto Police say officers responded to an assault call near Bathurst St. and Baycrest Ave. – south of Hwy. 401 – around 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 27.
It’s alleged that a man who was a passenger in a moving vehicle assaulted someone who was walking on the sidewalk at the time.
Police claim that during the assault, the assailant directed racial slurs towards the alleged victim who was victim, a person of Jewish faith.
A suspect was subsequently identified by investigators and taken into custody on Wednesday.
Junhee Jeong, 21, of Toronto, is charged with assault.

Investigators need help identifying a suspect wanted for assault with a weapon in North York on Tuesday.
Toronto Police say officers responded to an assault call in the area of Yonge St. and Sheppard Ave. around 8:30 a.m.
It’s reported that a man was inside a commercial building in the underground parking lot and approached an elevator where he was confronted by another man who then allegedly began, without provocation, to assault him with a baton-like weapon and kick him.

Cops say a bystander heard the commotion and rendered assistance to the victim, prompting the assailant to flee the area on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
Police are looking for a man described as 50-60 years old, about 6-foot-1, unshaven, with salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a black, red and white Canada toque, a black jacket, blue jeans and brown boots at the time.

MAN, 37, FACES CHILD PORN CHARGES AFTER WEST END HOME SEARCHED
A 37-year-old man face numerous charges stemming from a child exploitation investigation in the city’s west end.
Toronto Police say members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit, with the assistance of Child Rescue Coalition (CRC), executed a search warrant in the area of King St. W. and Strachan Ave. – west of Bathurst St. – on Thursday.
It’s alleged that a user downloaded a quantity of child sexual abuse and exploitation material from the internet.
Police alleged that a quantity of child sexual abuse and exploitation material was located on devices seized duringr a search of the residence.
Cops also claim three firearms and ammunition were carelessly stored in the residence.
Shane Peru, of Toronto, is charged with two counts each of possessing and accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material, and two counts of accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material, and one count of making available child sexual abuse and exploitation material, and three counts each of careless storage of firearm and careless storage of ammunition.
