You can find him in the … LCBO. Rapper 50 Cent says he will be in Toronto next month to promote his new Branson Cognac.

The In da Club hitmaker has announced that will be at the Toronto LCBO location at 48 Spadina Ave. on Dec. 12 to peddle his booze line.

The legendary rapper broke into the mainstream with his 2003 megahit featuring the lyrics “we gon’ sip Bacardi like it’s your birthday,” but it’s a safe bet that, for obvious reasons, those lyrics won’t be in play when the 50-year-old New Yorker arrives to pitch his new brand.

In a short clip posted to social media, 50 Cent says his “award-winning” Branson VS Phantom is available now at Ontario LCBO locations.

The LCBO site provides some background on the Cognac, which is retailing for $99.95.

Made in France

“Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson’s Phantom VS is crafted from grapes grown throughout the renowned Cognac region. It undergoes pot still distillation and is then aged a minimum of two to three years in French oak, resulting in complex aromas of vanilla and fruit. The palate is bold yet elegant with notes of oak, apple, and light citrus,” the product description says.

The award-winning rapper will be at the Spadina LCBO between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. to sign bottles and say hello to fans.

“Don’t miss out! We’re gonna have a good time,” he says in the video promoting the upcoming appearance.

Meanwhile, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, a Netflix docuseries about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ rise and fall from grace, will arrive on Tuesday. The series, which features four hour-long episodes, is executive-produced by 50 Cent and directed by Alexandria Stapleton.
