Investigators need help identifying a man sought for an alleged sex assault in the city’s west end last week.

And they’ve released images of a suspect hoping members of the public can help identify him and track him down.

Toronto Police claim the incident occurred as the alleged victim was walking in the area of Bloor St. W. and Brock Ave. – just west of Dufferin St. – around 9:25 p.m. on Thursday.

“The (man) approached the victim from behind and sexually assaulted them,” police allegd in a statement released Friday, explaining the man “then fled the area and was last seen running south towards Dufferin Mall.”
“There were no reported injuries,” police added.

Investigators are looking for a man who is described as Black, in his 20s, with a slim build. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants and white running shoes.
